COM LIT r1b vs. Slavic r5b

hey
I might've already asked something similar to this but since tomorrow is Aug. 15, I'm starting to panic.
I need to satisfy the 2nd half of the R&C req and I'm choosing between those two classes.
The Com Lit class theme is "Nostalgic Fictions: The Odyssey and modern lit".
The Slavic class's theme is "Confinement, Observation, and Reform in Russian, Estonian, Polish, English, and American Literature" (books such as One Day in the Life of Ivan Denisovich)

Does anyone have any experience with these classes? I would really appreciate any comments. Thanks.

The classes themselves are probably one-time only, but it's likely that the person teaching has taught or TAd before, or that books previously taught will be used before. For instance, the Odyssey is very popular in classes, as are plays by Shakespeare.

You'll be fine either way. :)
