coming to school the day of the AP test? what would you do ??

i’m really nervous about my first AP test ever! and i really need some advice for people about the situation:

I’m taking the test on fri, and i know that the majority of my friends who are taking it (its around 12:00) are not coming. i have this huge dilemma because:

if i go to school, i’m afraid i’m going to be too tired for the ap test, also i probably won’t have time to have a proper lunch, and also won’t have time to sleep in. plus, i have a spanish quiz on fri, which means i have to study the day before and lose time i could use to study for the AP test.

if i stay home, i can sleep in, but i’m afraid i won’t be “fully awake” ( i actually only fully “wake up” until around 3rd per. i’m a zombie first and second!) and i’m also afraid the lack of normal routine will throw me off. plus, i will have to do three extra P.E. makeups (our P.E. teacher makes us do that if we miss a day) but i’ll already have to do three because i’ll be missing a day next week. :frowning:

so… to go or not to go… that is the question!! i would greatly appreciate your help!! have you had a better testing experience going to school before hand or no??

Miss the Spanish test so you can spend your time studying for AP. Also, the extra time to sleep is nice. Drink caffeine if you're worried about being a "zombie." Besides, any excuse not to go to school is awesome.

i can't drink caffiene. i get imsomnia ( i think that's the word?)
haha. i like your reasoning! i've kind of missed a lot of school recently though (we had a shooting scare ).

Today actually.
Stats AP at 12:00.
I also have a huge AP Biology Unit test (we're behind) today. The test was 2nd period.
I actually pulled an all-nighter studying for both tests, so your situation might be different. I drank a couple of energy drinks with caffeine through the night so I wasn't sleepy, although their effect had pretty much almost disappeared by the time I got to first period.
First period I sat around and studied, and then 2nd period I took my bio test. My 2nd period ends 9:45, so then I just left right afterwards and studied a bit more.

If your spanish quiz is really important, I'd suggest just going for that one period. I just signed out after my 2nd period and the principal was there in the office. She actually wished me luck so don't worry about your teachers getting mad at you or anything (well, except in some special cases).

ohh wow, I hope everyone's alright

williamsf1 fan, that's actually a really good idea!!
i might just go for 1st and 2nd per, and then leave before i take the spanish quiz and make it up later. i'm more worried about my scary p.e teacher then the quiz !!
thanks.
everyone's fine alpha, it was just some threats on the wall, but almost everyone didn't go to school that day. like, only 15 people out of a class of 33 went to class!! i was really freaked out, but we had hardcore security so our school's alright. its still a little tense but for the most part we're not worried.

I'm guessing youre talking about AP euro.. So far out of the 58 I only know about 6-10 who are going. Don't go. lol

yup, its APeuro. wow. yeah, i probably will just go for the first two periods. thanks!

ooooh. does anyone know what the red dot under my name means ??

it means you have been flagged by the college board and you are being closely monitored via satellite. i would be afraid, you must have released confidential AP/SAT information.

go hide

what red dot? o.O

the CC? you mean that square that shows you're online and currently on the forum?

hmm. i could have sworn it was a red dot.. now its replaced by the cc. hahaha branderson925. i think i should!!
