i really need to start my essay! so i was hoping that after the audition i had the other day i would make it into the band and then i could right a happy essay about that. however, even though i worked hard i still didn't make it and i still got nervous. could i somehow make an essay around a failure? i thought i could write about another band group i do and how i love it but then i realized i just really can't write much about it. what if i described scenes of playing music throughout my life? another idea i had was describing a trip to the library and just everything i saw and make it sort of visual creative but it wouldn't say anything about me. are any of these ideas good at all? i have writer's block

the failure one should be stayed away from. i like your last idea, about the library. and you're wrong to say it doens't tell anything about you. it can and it should. start from there and see what happens/

alright i did write a rough draft of that one, but my mom thought it wasn't good for a college essay. i'm just really lost on what works. what are some example topics of college essays?
