Hi everyone! So I've been trying to pick a topic for my common app essay, and I've actually written partial rough drafts of a couple various topics. I can't decide which one to go with, because I really want to make sure my essay is unique. Any advice on which topic you think would be best is greatly appreciated! :)

running for class president and losing the election to one of my best friends (talk about how I've grown from it, not just boo-hoo feel sorry for me)

how I'm not funny

I'm a perfectionist but my struggles with math keep me grounded

things in my closet (kind of cliche.. but I could talk about how certain things represent me. ie: my cheer uniform represents the perseverance and dedication I learned from cheerleading, my Steelers jersey represents my hometown pride, my work uniform represents my hard-working attitude, etc)

this is the topic I originally wanted to go with. It was a very abstract essay about "Who am I?" that includes my thoughts and opinions on various things and descriptions of moments I feel really describe me. It's hard to describe it without making it sound dull but it's really not
