<p>Oops. I blew it. Vtoodler is right. That's because if one is National Merit Commended, one has the scores to be National Achievement semifinalist. The score range for that starts at about 190 (or possibly higher, depending on where one lives and whether one is in a prep school.) The highest qualification score that I've heard of is 193 for Nat. Achieve. semifinalist. National Achievement does not publish its cutoff scores.</p>
