I commented on a thread and found later that both my comment and the comment it was in response to was either deleted or disappeared, and I’m not really sure why - don’t think either broke any ToS.
The other comment was “'Murica,” which was sarcastic and not helpful in the thread. I deleted your response since it didn’t make sense by itself.
Good to know. Does that mean we can report other sarcastic and unhelpful comments, then?
Yes, moderators look at them on a case by case basis.
I made a comment in a thread today that seems to have disappeared. I can see that I made it under my “posts,” but when I follow the link it isn’t there in the thread. I don’t think there was anything controversial about it.
Lucie, the same thing happened to me a while back. Post appeared on my list of replies, but did not appear on a thread. I asked a moderator to check mine to see if it was deleted…and it had not been. It was weird!
@LucieTheLakie, can you tell me the name of the thread? The entire thread might have been deleted for some reason.

No the thread is still there, and when I click on “my post,” it will take me there, but my post is missing:
I was responding to post #150 and my post would have been made around the same time as post #151.

I’ve encountered a lot of weird glitches the past few weeks. Things had been going so swimmingly for so long here on CC–I guess it was too good to be true!

Boy, that’s odd. Were you responding to someone? The only thing I can guess is that a moderator deleted someone’s comments and then also got rid of any responses.
@ccadmin_Sorin, this issue has happened to @thumper1 more than once and now @LucieThelakie is reporting the same thing. Any ideas what it could be? I don’t think a moderator deleted the posts, because in that case the post link wouldn’t show up on the user’s profile page.
I’m wondering if post #151 and mine were both sent at the exact same time maybe? We were both responding to post #150. I quoted part of that message in my response, and unfortunately when I get the preview of my actual post, that’s all that shows up before you hit the ellipsis.
