I've edited several posts. The page is just a little different, but it works just fine. Actually, I'm editing this just now to check...and the page looks exactly the same. Perhaps they were changing servers again or something. Honestly...this page looks exactly the same as every other edit page...yesterday it was a little different. Today it is fine.

When you get a private message, there is no reply button at the bottom, only a forward button. Is that with everybody or is there something I'm missing?

I do like one change they made: when you post a reply to a thread it just pops right onto the page. No more reloading the entire page. Seems more efficient.

I'm also having problems with missing pm links but I do have the reply button.

Did anyone else lose the 4 option drop down menu on the user name that included a link to send pm's to that member?

I now also notice that posting and editing is much faster and more efficient.

Dear Xiggi, I am eternally grateful to you for this invaluable information as to how to increase font size:

Another way, is to simply engage the Ctrl key and move the wheel of the mouse.
This works like a charm.

Is there any way to bring back the number of views on a topic?

i liked the views too, but lobbied more for the posts....just happy to get those back.

I miss the # views too...

Wow, I got a message that I haven't posted for a while, suggesting that I do so. In fact, I haven't been around much, but I think it is amazing that the site has a sensor to keep up with this!

Please make the alphabetical listing of colleges a slightly smaller font. It is too large right now.

Also, please place all the colleges in the forum alphabetically. For example, the college that begin with "C" will be in the "C" section but not be alphabetically listed.

PLEASE STOP LOGGING ME OUT! (Just before sending replies & PM's.)

What's with the You-Are-Not-Logged-In nonsense (when you are)? Not just a problem for me; some people PM that it happens to them.

(And yes, I meant to shout!)

Where is the "print text only" line? That was handy. Please put it back if you can.

Yup, like epiphany I've had a LOT of problems with being told I'm not logged in when I am. Happens when replying and editing. It's been aggravating and a few times I lost my entire post during the re-logging in process.

GFG:
Stubborn me: I've been determined not to lose those "not-logged-in" replies. When you hit "submit reply" and the dumb window comes up, and you re-log-in, naturally the system doesn't let you back-up to where your reply is. It'll keep saying "invalid thread/contact webmaster," over & over. I've been able to retrieve the in-progress reply by pulling down my History from my top-of-page menu -- rather than back-tracking from the buttons on the browser window itself. I don't know if that will work for you.

It's nutty to have to do all that, & doesn't excuse the misfires, but maybe it'll forestall the most aggravating aspect -- that is, losing your message.

epiphany -
When typing a long reply, I type it in Word and then copy paste it into the message box. That way if something goes wrong, I don't lose my reply.

Thanks for the tip, epiphany. Karp, that's what I've begun to do also.

Yeah, Karp, I've also been doing that (pasting -- and esp. for PM's). But if I forget to do that or get lazy, sometimes the "history" thing works ("Go" on Explorer for those of us still in the Stone Age).

What I was doing (similar but a little simpler) is just typing here in the box, but then highlighting and copying before I hit reply, so it would be saved if I got thrown off. I'm not still having the problem, though (just did on the first day).
