Common App and Naviance: How do they communicate?

I linked my common app and naviance accounts with no issue earlier this month. A few days later my counselor was changed. The change was made in Naviance, but unfortunately, the common app still lists my old counselor. My new counselor has no idea idea how to fix this. The common app support people said they can not make any changes since my school uses Naviance. Anyone know how the 2 systems communicate? If a counselor change is made in Naviance, is this not reflected on the Common App. Do transcripts and school reports get submitted electronically directly from Naviance or from the Common App?

I got an answer for this, so I thought I would post in case others have this issue in the future. My counselor had to contact naviance support. Naviance unlinked the accounts. I then had to relink the naviance and common app accounts. Then, the new counselor showed up in the common app.
