<p>I know right? I could not whip out my credit card fast enough LOL…Its all about my carefully crafted schedule. I also booked a room at the Hampton Inn on Vine St. I stayed overnight there when I picked my S up from CCM’s summer program, very nice hotel and in walking distance. With every step we take I have a snow storm in mind!</p>
<p>Hahaha! We requested a Chicago Unifieds date so we have reservations there already. However, also received Montclair’s Audition confirmation and booked our hotel for there today. Checked them yesterday and two of the four hotels I was looking at booked up overnight!</p>
<p>How many schools is your S applying to again? Would love to hear about your carefully crafted schedule…been working on mine as well but still need to get pre-screen finished next week and submitted for 8 of our schools!!!</p>
<p>He has 11 on the list and we are going to every one of them. I started a spreadsheet of all the schools and their dates. When I looked at the schools with dates offered in November Wright State stood out because they offer Master Classes for the students auditioning in November so it seemed like a great opportunity. I then considered schools with early action or rolling admissions. I figured if he got an acceptance before Christmas he would be feeling really good (corse there is a chance this strategy could backfire…shudders to think), taking a little pressure of the rest of the trips. This is how I came up which schools to schedule first. AS of now CCM is his first choice so I put them after he had a few auditions under his belt. I pushed prescreening schools to later on this list because I just wasn’t sure how that process works and how quickly he could have his prepared. Lastly I considered distance; I tried to avoid back to back 4 to 5 hr drives each way.</p>

<p>Left is Otterbein, Univ of MI, Penn State, Ithaca, PACE and CMU. Pretty much in that order but if he doesn’t get passed the prescreening these are all fairly interchangeable dates. CMU doesn’t let applicants know until 3/15 so he’s schedule that on 3/1, why prolong the agony!</p>

<p>MTMajorCook - The forum won’t allow me to reply to your PM because I’ve posted less than 15 times. Guess I need to be more active here. Hannah is auditioning at Point Park the same day as your son! Pretty cool. Quick question on CCM - I requested her audition date at CCM but haven’t gotten confirmation that it will, in fact, be that day. Has anyone else had their audition confirmed?</p>
<p>D is still waiting for her CCM confirmation. I found a place where I can at least check myself rather than waiting. I found it via the FAQ’s. The FAQ’s state that you won’t be able to access the audition date for 2-3 weeks, but if this link works, here’s the login page to check for the audition date.</p>

I just checked, and it says she’s “not currently scheduled for an audition.” These sites start to make me feel like I’m losing my mind because I’ll schedule an audition, yet they’re so slow to update the system that it will show as if nothing has been done since they haven’t confirmed. Is anyone showing they’re scheduled date/time yet?</p>
<p>I had last checked Saturday, so they must have confirmed it or put it in the system yesterday. Hannah’s is coming!</p>

<p>Confirmation was updated. He is in…1/25 at Cinci. Check in 7:45AM Dance call at 8:30 AM Vocal/Monologue 10:06AM. So glad the dance is first. Shweew…</p>
