So I accidentally sent in my common app to Washington and Lee and Vanderbilt with a stupid error. It said that my GPA was a 4.1 (which it is) but then for the scale I put 10 thinking it was asking for the grading scale and not the GPA scale. Can I withdraw my apps somehow and send them again with the correction? I don't want them to think I'm failing :(

No you can’t withdraw and resend the application. What you can do is send each school an email or a letter stating that the application contains an error. Don’t worry too much about this - your guidance counselor will also be sending in this information and your transcript presumably has a scale on it as well so the error will be corrected. Typos happen and they will almost certainly realize their is a mistake, especially if you point it out.

By the way, do not use the letter as a chance to correct other minor typos. You want them to focus on this one - the important one.

Just send them a quick e-mail and explain ur mistake in it. Easy peasy.
