<p>Is anyone else finding the character limits on the common app "honors" and "activities" sections to be limiting? You only get 100 characters to describe an honor and 150 to describe an activity.</p>
<p>Also, what's up with the 5-honor limit? I bet a lot of kids have more than 5 honors.</p>

<p>For the character limits, you’ll just have to deal, unfortunately. Find a way to use abbreviations or short, concise phrases.</p>
<p>As for the honors, you’ll have to list the rest in the Additional Information section at the very end of the Common App. I, for one, know what you mean (I have too many to count [not trying to brag, honestly] and it was a pain plugging them all into that last section), but there’s no other go.</p>
