<p>I've recently started on my CA essay. I've been thinking about stylistic grammar questions; I was wondering if long paragraphs were as effective/ as "pretty" as shorter paragraphs. I really don't know how to separate my information into short paragraphs because it all flows together. Right now, it seems like my essay will be on a five-paragraph track. Does this seem too English class essay?</p>
<p>The “five-paragraph essay” is more about structure than the number of paragraphs (and hopefully you aren’t writing these for your English classes anymore either). It’s fine to have long paragraphs if that’s what makes sense to you.</p>
