Common app essay?

<p>For the essay topic about diversity, can I name more than one experience or encounter or is it just specifically ONE. I already wrote a rutgers essay about diversity and I was wondering if I could use two paragraphs for that essay, to use as part of my common app essay.</p>

<p>I'm definitely going to expand upon this, but can you guys tell me what you think? My concern is that what I'm saying is too broad for the essay question.... let me know if you wan to read what I have and I'll message it to you. Thanks!</p>

<p>The prompts limit your word count so in my opinion it’s better to write about something really significant to you and really elaborate on that one thing. If Rutgers is going to get both essays then don’t do that, because it’s going to look like you didn’t try… also, because no one wants to read the same essay twice.</p>
