Ok, so I submitted my common app to a university that is test optional; therefore, I didn't put any of my ACT or SAT scores in the spaces provided by the application. When I submitted the application, I assumed that I would be able to go back and put my scores in when I submitted my other applications...well I was so wrong. Editing is not enabled and I have to submit my scores to the other colleges. How can I go back and put my scores in? Do I have to email the Common App reps?

You will have to create a copy of your common application. That is discussed in other places on CC and you can also find out how to do it in the support section of the common app.

You will have to create a new Common App account. No big deal, but you will have to re-input all of the info, I think.

I am pretty sure you had to check a box that said you were aware of this when you submitted the app for the first time.

On your Common Application, click on “Common Application” on the left side, which is fourth in line below “Instructions”, “My Colleges” and “Search for Colleges”. Then click on “Replicate” which makes a copy of your first submission, but allows you to discard essays, or upload new essays, change information, etc.

You can replicate multiple times, and will find all your versions in the drop down menu.

You will also have to move your colleges over from the first version. To do that click on “Remove college” and then it will give you the option to move it to a new version.
