Common App Indenting

So, this might be a stupid question.

I put my common app essay into the essay box through Google Drive. I used block formatting and left one line in between my paragraphs. When I go to preview, however, there is at least 3 lines space in between my paragraphs. What should I do to revise this issue?

CA adds a new line for a paragraph if u have ‘enter’.
Try removing empty lines and see if that works.
