Hello guys,
As I am preparing the application for next year, I have some questions:

  1. As I list activities, what should I put in Position/Leadership and Details if I have simply attended seminars? N/A is fine?

  2. When they say “List books”, do they mean I have to mention the books I have read or mention them and explain what impact they’ve had on me?

  3. Is there anyone (admitted to top-schools) who would help me in the application process as I am an international student?

  1. I guess, but if it is a club that isn’t common or that admissions counselors might not know about, the “details” could describe what the club does, not just if you have a leadership position

  2. “List books”? Is this a college specific question? Because the Common App doesn’t ask that

  3. you can probably ask your guidance counselor, or there might be services to help. Ask around
