Common App Short essay cut off

My son's short essay looked like it fit, and we thought we checked it enough times. But of course, after we submitted it to five schools, I realized when it printed, the last five words were cut off.
What are the ramifications of such a mistake? Should we tell the schools of the error?
I was able to make a new version for his other schools, but his top choices were in the first group.

My advice? Take a chill pill. 5 words will mean essentially nothing. There are no “ramifications” for dropping 5 words, and schools won’t care. If a paragraph was missing, then that’d be a problem. Just take a deep breath
