I decided to look over my application (after I submitted it to every single school I was applying to) just to see how it looked. Turns out, in the extracurricular activities portion of the writing page, my words were cut off. The essay finished off with "is what I want to do for the rest of my". It's obvious the next word is going to be life. Is it worth calling 6 colleges and notifying them of this error? Or will they understand that it was a human error?

Thanks in advance.

Most if not all colleges are aware that the short answer gets cut off easily. I don’t think it is worth emailing six colleges but unfortunately it is something they will notice. How much notice they take actually depends on the school. It might be worth it to contact the common application office and see if there is any way of correcting the error. But like you said the missing word can be figured out pretty easily.

Bottom line, I wouldn’t worry about it :)

This happened to me too just now. But I don’t know whether I should e-mail the schools to let them know ASAP or if they even care. My counselor said it’s nothing to worry about but I feel like I should still do something instead of waiting. Ahhhhh
