<p>I always try to prepare and get things done in advance, making sure everything meet deadlines. B/c of common app, it was a nightmare for me for months. I kept follow up and have been contacting counselors and teachers that common app shows materials haven't been submitted. Fortunately, my counselors eventually found out the problem the last minute. By the way, I applied to Emory. I wish Emory has their own online application or some sort of system instead of totally reply on common app. Moreover, this will allow students to check on other non-required materials sent through emails or mails. There are some unreasonable issues with common app, which could tremendously affect admission opportunities for numerous students. For example, teachers could not log in/submit, and also the format couldn't show the submit button depending on which internet browsers and computers you are using. It is a waste of time for my counselors have to try 3-4 different computers. As you know how busy counselors and teachers are.</p>
