<p>While you may not be penalized during the admissions process, it is in your best interest to learn how to really edit down and answer the question that is being asked with out being verbose. </p>
<p>When you do get to college you will find profressors who will actually penalize you for going over the assigned word count and page limit.</p>
<p>You did really well Tony for cutting it that close! Wow, now I don't feel as bad . . I mean I procrastinate, but I guess I'm just not as hard-core as you. You did excellent though, congrats! Thanks for all the good info. :)</p>
<p>I had no idea essays were truncated, I mean, can you see where it cuts off before you submit, or auto truncated w/o applicant's input? I guess I'll just end up mailing, seems the safest route.</p>
