Hi- As home school mom, I also wear the counselor hat. Should we try to do the on-line version of the Common Ap or are all the questions that are required to be answered by the counselor going to be just too irrelevant to our situation? I was able to see some of it on their video for counselors and so much just doesn't apply. Wish they'd do a little video for us! :)
We could do much of it on line, but some would not be on line, and they seem to frown on "Mixing and Matching" on line and paper applications. It seems it's either all one way or the other. Sigh.

We mixed and matched – electronic and paper. I don’t think it will matter too much though if you do the Secondary School Report electronically. I ended up putting “n/a” in a lot of the blanks… but then that was on paper. I wonder if the electronic version will let you do that. Not sure.

I am going all electronic this year. Last time I did not have the choice. I suspect this will all be easier. N/A and “Please see transcript” will still work for anything that is a text field.

Thanks for your responses! Must take deep breath and jump in!

We did all electronic last year and it was fine. I said we don’t rank students, and answered the questions as best as I could. I really liked the counselor recommendation!
