The commonapp question that asks about which EC was most meaningful to you… How long is that supposed to be? It’s supposed to be a “short answer” right? Mine is 140 some words. Is that chillin’?

<p>actually i have a question: i wrote 250 words, (i haven't sent it yet) and they simply transfered my whole answer into the additional info section. when i previewed it, my whole answer was there. do you think i should keep it as 250 or should i reduce it to the limit of 150?

<p>i don't think it is meant to be an essay, so if you have a lot of verbose comments in your essay trim it down, but if it is really good leave it, but isn't it short answer, not short essay</p>

<p>probably, i don't think they count words, but they can tell a difference between 300 words and 150, but between 175 and 150 is only about a line and a half extra, thats fine, but if you are worried try to take out extra not needed comments, it shortens your answer and could make it better by elimination extraneous information</p>
