Hey guys. I am quite new to CC, and I have ran into a major glitch in my college application process. The Honors College/Scholarship supplemental essay that I need has a prompt of the following: "Please describe one important activity outside of class during your high school years that has been an important experience for you, particularly one in which you have played a leadership role. Explain how this activity has helped in your own growth and intellectual or personal development." This is great... just one slight problem. I am not really active in many activities outside of school, and definitely none that I hold a leadership role in. I prefer to be a great go-to second-in-command. The only activities that I am actively a part of are in-school functions. If anybody has any advice or ideas to help me write this essay and get into the honor's college, it would be very appreciated. Thank you so much, and I hope to hear from you all soon!

You could choose a club or function meaningful to you and describe your contributions. Tell why it was/is meaningful. Explain how you’ve served as a backup leader and how you’ve influenced those around you. Leadership isn’t just being president. Just my opinion, good luck!
