can i turn in the supplement before i turn in the actual app?

Unless it's a hand-in-hand app (highlighted in grey for the particular school), then I think you can.

Generally, you can--except as Forgetmenots stated above.

oh s***, i submitted supp first and then common app for bowdoin which is highlighted in grey.. is this a problem?

it's ok.

Colleges highlighted in GRAY are "Hand-in-Hand." These colleges REQUIRE that BOTH your application AND your supplement be submitted from the same registration account before your application will be processed. Therefore, you must submit BOTH the application and supplement to "Hand-in-Hand" colleges before you will be considered an applicant!

you just turn it in.. to be considered.

Thanks hrhcow :)
