Cornell is my dream school. I want to be a communication major and the courses within that major in Cornell has everything I was hoping for and more. What is really interesting about their communications major is that they focus not only on technology and social influence, but on the environment, science, and health (as it's within the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences). The only problem is, Cornell is my dream school for a reason. It's very unlikely I will get into that school, and I was wondering what other colleges have a communications major similar to that of Cornell's. Obviously, I don't care about the name of the school, I just want to know what school's courses are similar to this one. For example, I know of other colleges where communication majors focus a lot on the history of communication, and they tie that in with broadcasting and journalism, which I really don't want. I also live in New York, and would like a college relatively close by.
