I'm going to attend a grad school to obtrain my JD/MBA after my undergrad. What degree would be better to major in. Comm or IS with concentrations in business and communication? Thank you!

Neither. Are those your only two options?

no those were just the two I was looking at the hardest. It’s hard to choose a degree to major in for UG. I’m told to take something easier so I have a high GPA but nothing that’s to easy.

These lurch too far to the easy side. Try a more traditional, liberal-arts major.

What about Poli Sci or Psychology? How would you rate the level of difficulty on scale of 1-10

Those are both fine (and very different). Pick whichever one you like better–you’ll find that one is easier.

I think I might take classes in a few different areas before I transfer. Just to see what I like. I’m just stressing over what to study cause my parents are saying I should major in something worth while cause what if I change my mind and don’t want to attend law school after I finish undergrad.

Trust me, Comm will have little value in the real world. :)

So would Poli Sci have more value?

I guess I’m going to catch a lot of flack for this, but you should major in something about which you’re really passionate, no matter how easy or hard it may be.

I’m not sure if this is the best advice for a prospective law school applicant, though. Really, however, I feel like you only go to college once, and it’s not time you should be using to bite the bullet so you can pander to some admissions committee.

My GPA paid the price for it, as I took a lot of graduate courses (and hard science courses) out of intellectual curiosity. But then again, I ended up landing on my feet.

Yeah thats why i’m gonna take a few classes at a CC b4 i transfer. see what I like.

Make sure you do well in those CC classes, as those grades will be included in your law school applications.

Yeah I know but I’m thinking of going the Poli Sci direction.
