<p>I briefly looked through the website concerning this degree and did not get the feeling that U of A had a strong program for a student interested in getting into the field of mass media (television and/or radio). Can anyone comment on this thought?</p>

The School of Media Arts offers pre-professional and professional education at the undergraduate level as part of an overal liberal arts education. My daughter attends there as a film major. She is getting a great undergrad education, with a lot of personalized attention in a small department that is part of a much larger university.</p>
