Community College? (chance)

<p>I am a high school junior and I have taken the majority of my high school courses at a local community college. The rest of my courses are done through homeschooling and extension programs.</p>

<p>Will this affect my chances of getting in?</p>

<p>Here are some stats:</p>

<p>-GPA: 3.7
-PSAT: 185
-EC's: LA County Sheriff Explorer Program, LA Valley College Forensics team, piano for eleven years, 500+ Volunteer hours, United States Marine Corps Devil Pup
-Female Hispanic
-Lived in the Dominican Republic for 5 months did charity work over there</p>

<p>Awards:
Won the parliamentary debate tournament at CSUN, third place at Fall Championships in parliamentary debate, Finals in Persuasive speaking, PT Award from USMC Devil Pups, George Washington Award for Leadership from Patrick Henry College, and a ton of other random awards...</p>

<p>to put that I am on the Dean's honor list at my junior college</p>

<p>LA county Sheriff Explorer Program- I heard about that. It sounds cool. How is it?</p>

<p>its great- I love it, I have alot of fun and I get a ton of hours at the same time, and you get lots of advice from the Deputies and other LEO's</p>
