So I want to go to a CC then transfer out and so far im stuck between LACC or WLAC, my question is, have any of you done the transfer system? what were the the things that you liked and hated about it? Do you have any opinion or suggestions regarding transferring? Im planning on studying psychology by the way :D

Likes:
-parking permits were cheap!!!
-not all books were THAT expensive.
-smaller campus to walk from class to class.
-professor office hours & actually knowing them

hates:
-registering for classes that you need when they get filled up fast because everyone wants that class!
-counseling appointments
-the small clinic at the CC I went to.

Make sure you finish all your IGETC stuff and prereq before transferring! If you want to finish fast and transfer quick that is because I spent like 4 yrs at a JC (part time) figuring out what to take because the counseling at the CC I went to was not that helpful.

Which cc did you attend?? And is it common to always not get a class that you need??

I went to SCC. Basically we had a main campus but it was split up in different locations to benefit people who live within the county. It is common to not get a class you need but mostly/sometimes people have a backup class they take instead in case if they dont get it. If you dont get the class you need that semester you can always try again next.
