More opinions people, plz!

Phi Beta Kappa after 2 years? I don’t think so, and neither will adcoms.

Whoops, I meant Thi Theta Kappa. Thanks for catching my typo.

*Phi Theta Kappa.

Try ACT/SAT classes or tutoring. They are not for everyone, but it can certainly help

I don’t have the money. I don’t even have money for community college. I had received this scholarship to take as many dual enrollment classes that I wanted during high school but I just graduated. The dean of my campus extended my scholarship under the table because he’s a nice guy but if it wasn’t for that I wouldn’t even be able to go here. But a lot of the schools I’m applying to offer GREAT financial aid.

NYU gives the worst aid in the USA, probably even the world

I can see you getting into Middlebury, Vassar, Hamilton, Colgate, and BU. Good luck!

Just checked out NYU’s aid… damn brother. How is BC’s?

Good

You don’t have to blow money on test prep to raise your score. Just buy the Real ACT Prep Book and maybe one other prep book and google up some practice tests. Take as many practice tests as you possibly can under test conditions. I did this for 2 weeks and my score jumped up 5 points. If the prep books cost you too much just return them within a month. If you’re planning to start studying more than a month in advance just return them and have someone else buy it back (with cash) for you so you can keep it another month. Sorry if that sounds unethical. If you get at least a 32 I’m sure you’ll have a shot at Vandy

I’d be fine ripping off a book store, I read books all the time in there and don’t pay squat. How’s that for unethical, haha?

Por favor, more opinions.

Tu est parle francais?

Nope. I only speak Americano, haha.

Hey, USC superscores the ACT, so they would see a 31 along with a 3.95/4.00. Is that solid enough to be a match?

Don’t really know much about transfers, but I’ll judge your chances based on selectivity of the schools.

Also, a 3.95 GPA is impressive, but I’ve heard (and so may have these schools’ adcoms) that psych is a very easy major. I think schools also look for a unique reason for the transfer? So work on that maybe. And a 33+ ACT would help you out a ton. These schools are tough with your current score:

You have to get your ACT up if you want to transfer to these places. What classes did you take in college?

@PSC2IVY You better double check if these schools do superscore ACT. I know some sources are not reliable or misleading. At least I notice Northwestern on your list does not superscore ACT. Use the list below to check for schools that superscore ACT:

Awesome GPA! ACT score is a little low for those who don’t superscore, though.
