Community college to UVA

What are my chances of being accepted to UVA's Business school after a year of community college?

High school:
GPA: 2.0
SAT: Didn't take

Community College:
Pre-Calc: 4.0
Psychology: 4.0
Calculus: 4.0
Statistics: 4.0
Comp & Lit I: 4.0
Comp & Lit II: 4.0
Art History: 4.0
Western Civilization: 4.0
Macroeconomics: 4.0
(Honors) Microeconomics: 4.0
Marketing: 4.0

Overall GPA: 4.0

Very slim with only one year factoring a 2.0 GPA + no SATs. I don’t live in VA (and don’t know if you do either) however if you do, I hear they have a guaranteed acceptance to UVA after two years with an AA degree if you have over a 3.5, so you could look into that. It would never hurt to try, because you’ve taken an impressive course load, but again, your HS GPA will be a factor in their admission decision because you haven’t completed a lot of college credits yet.

I’m pretty sure you can’t transfer into the Business school as a sophomore because most of the courses start junior year (and I think most UVa students apply half-way through sophomore year to McIntire).

Here is the undergrad business school website page about applications: [UVa McIntire School of Commerce: Application Process: UVA Students](http://www.commerce.virginia.edu/undergrad/admissions/Pages/uva-application-process.aspx)

you would want to click the transfer student link though not the UVa student link

You would probably transfer to UVa before going to the business school.
