Community Colleges with dorms in Georiga?

So I got the news that I will be moving to georiga and i just applied to all these suny schools and getting the news now :frowning: . I have to move in with my parents because they dont want to leave me in New York by myself and Im currently a high school senior. Pretty bad way to start my college life  Can you guys suggest me some community colleges in georgia with dorms? I only found three(Andrew, Gordon, and ABAC) and im not sure if theres any more.

Thereā€™s another college called ā€œCollege of Coastal Georgiaā€ I applied there and got accepted. I didnā€™t end up attending though but I have heard its a good school and they also have dorms as well. Hope my advice helps you.

Hey @juillet arenā€™t you from Georgia? Maybe you know something.

There are some colleges in GA that have later application dates - Kennesaw State U (5/8), Middle GA State, GA Southwestern, Berry College (application dates in July) that probably have dorms and might be more similar to the SUNYs that you applied to.

Why canā€™t you attend a SUNY and live on campus there? With the free tuition system, itā€™d be much cheaper than Georgia, where youā€™d be considered out of state till your parents have lived there 12 months. Youā€™d have tobpeomuse to live and work in the state for four years but it seems like a good deal to me.

Otherwise, whatā€™s your budget for college? What are your stats ? If you applied to SUNY 's, why apply to community colleges in Georgia?

@MYOS1634 My parents defiantly donā€™t want to leave me in NY by myself. And during breaks, going to New York from Georgia would be a hassle. According to my brother he said itā€™ll be easier to start in a community college in georgia in the fall and transfer to a state school the next semester because if i apply to a state school there in the fall, iā€™ll be paying out of state tuition. I also have a relative in georgia that well be moving in with so i believe weā€™ll be paying in-state tuition. This entire situation is really stressful for me rn but my stats are pretty average rn
I have a 3.5 GPA but a 930 on the sat. Mostly took regular courses and no apā€™s. I applied for eop programs for the suny schools
Denied
Binghamton (Really had no chance tbh)
Albany ( was accepted academically but i messed up on my fafsa which cause me to get denied. really regret that cause it was my top school.)
Havent heard back from cortland, u buffalo, suny purchase applied to eop programs for all
The only regular desicion i made was buffalo state.
