Commuting 1hr every Tuesday and Thursday for 5 weeks doable?

So I’ll be taking the bus from my apartment over in Stone Mountain to Tech’s campus. I’m signed up for 15 credits on every Tues/Thurs class taking classes like Thermo, Deformable Bodies, and Fluids along with liberal arts electives.

This’ll only be a temporary living situation and I’ll be moving into an apartment closer to Atlanta by October or late September.

The commute is roughly 1 hour 20 minutes. I was thinking that since I only have classes on TR that I’d just go to classes on those days, but not focus too much on studying unless it were a test or quiz day. Would y’all say this is a bit too much and that I should drop one of the Engineering classes?

Thanks in advance.

I think you can do it. Yes, on T-TH you’ll only be in class and won’t have time for studying. Just relax if you have any breaks.

In my major, most classes were T-Th, so for junior and senior year that was basically my schedule. the M-W-F were actually harder, because they weren’t ‘free’ days, they were study days. It is much harder to study for 4-5 hours than go to classes.

I have a two hour break in between Def Bodies and my next class. So, it’d be a good way to actually enjoy the city for once and chill with friends.

It is just a temporary living situation and then I’ll move much closer and cut my commute down to like 20 minutes on the train
