Compare attending BC Honors Arts and Science vs an Ivy School

So I got into the Honor A&S Program, and I am really excited. Could someone here explain to me the benefits, as well as the cons of the program?

If you get to choose between BC Honors A&S Program vs an Ivy League school (say Brown or Dartmouth), which one would you pick? And why?

I’ve heard being in the honors program will allow the professors to know you better -> better recs for future grad schools. How do you think of this?

Thanks all.

On another post you mentioned that you were not accepted into the Honors program. Did you appeal?

Can't help you with BC vs. Ivies since that's a personal fit decision. But, I can comment that you might not want to major in undergrad biz if you are looking for a top law school. (see the Law thread on cc for reasons why.)

Actually I got accepted to the Honors Program, but the mail went straight to my home (I'm a boarding student). My father forgot to scan the Honors program letter the first time. He just scanned it to me yesterday.

But if you have to choose between the two, which one would you PERSONALLY pick? I just want to know why :D

I want to double major in political science/economics. How do you think of that?
