Compare these schools. Two lists...

Strength of Academics at this school.
Overall how you would rank these schools.
Rank from (1st to 9th)
Let's say youre looking at a pre-med program.

Boston U -
Colgate U -
Cornell U -
Franklin/Marshall C -
Northwestern U -
Rice U -
Tufts -
Vassar C -
Washington & Lee U -
Whitman C -

Now for the second ranking.
Rank these schools according to "how hard it is to get good grades and succeed"
Rank from (1-9) 1 being the easiest to get good grades and be successful, 9 being the hardest.

Boston U -
Colgate U -
Cornell U -
Franklin/Marshall C -
Northwestern U -
Rice U -
Tufts -
Vassar C -
Washington & Lee U -
Whitman C -

Tufts
Cornell
Northwestern
Rice
Vassar
Colgate
Boston U
Washington/Lee
Whitman
Franklin Marshall

idk second part

If you're looking for really strong academics and pre-med reputation in a LAC environment, I would suggest Davidson College. As for the ranking, I don't know enough to provide input.

I agree with the above list, except that maybe I'd switch Colgate and BU. BU has a really great pre-med program.

do all of these schools have great pre-med programs though?

Especially Washington and Lee, Whitman, and Franklin and Marshall

Ive heard BU is good, but that there is grade "deflation", same goes for tufts and cornell

In pre-med classes you're going to find deflation just about everywhere. The curves will be difficult because so many people will be competing for high grades to get into med school.

yeah but deflation at Johns Hopkins is far worse than say..whitman.
You know what i mean?

Colgate U -
Davidson C -
Franklin/Marshall C -
Haverford C -
Northwestern U -
Vassar C -
Washington & Lee U -
Whitman C -

heres a new list.
