is claremont mckenna better or worse? is it more prestigious or less?

There are lots of threads about this already, try doing a search.

Pomona is better for some students, CMC is better for others. Prestige is in the eye of the beholde; some employers only hire from ivies, some employers only hire graduates from state flagship universities. Your question has as many different answers as there are people, because you are asking for subjective opinions. As someone who attended one of these schools, had classes at both of them, and graduated from a state flagship university, you should figure out what you want/need in a school and then investigate which schools best meet those wants/needs.

Why did you take classes at CMC and Pomona and then graduate from a “flagship” state university?

I had a pretty good response to this question a little bit ago and i’m too lazy to look it up again. If you want to survive college, hone those research skills and look up the old threads, and then post if you have any follow-up questions.

I attended one of the Claremont colleges immediately after high school. I was a sixteen year old freshman with no firm goals, so after a few semesters I dropped out. I worked for awhile, left California, and eventually finished my education at a university in another state.
