<p>I would like to add another UC to my list of applications (already applied to Berkeley and San Diego) but I'm not sure which one. I'm between LA, Davis, Santa Barbara, and Irvine. Does anyone know anything about these schools that might help me decide? How are the cities/locations? I want to do a Ph.D. in Electrical & Computer Engineering if anyone knows anything about those programs specifically.</p>

<p>UCLA Deadline - December 15
UC Davis Deadline - January 15th (all materials due by January 15th including letters, transcripts, etc)
UCSB - December 15th to be considered for aid, January 15th for non-aid
UCI - January 15th</p>
<p>Just for reference and to save anyone else anytime. All those deadlines are for the PhD program in electrical.</p>
<p>LA- surrounded by Brentwood, Westwood, Santa Monica, big name well known school
Davis- smaller town, more agriculture based area in general
Irvine- suburb, could live at Newport Beach
SB- have not been there in years, but is a nice place, though not as airport accessible as the others if you want to be flying 'home'</p>
