<p>princetonreview has something like this but I would take the results with a grain of salt!</p>

<p>GPA depends on how tough the hs grades. EC's are hard to quantify. The best indicator of safety/match/reach is probably the 50% SAT ranges. If you don't have a strong hook like legacy/URM/athlete/development-case/VIP/ED-applicant/etc, then you need to be near the middle of the 50% SAT range in order for the school to be a reach. If you are towards the top of the 50% SAT range, then the school is a match. For example, if the 50% SAT range is 1350-1550, then having around a 1450 would make it a reach and around a 1500 would be more of a match. Above a 1550 would make it a safety, but no school in the top 15 is ever a safety.</p>
<p>The 50% ranges are misleading since it sounds like just being in the 50% range means that you have a 50% chance, but the range is based on the students accepted and not the students who applied. The bottom half of the range is taken up by applicants with strong hooks.</p>
