If anyone could give me more information on these degrees, it would be very helpful. I am looking at Computer Engineering and Aerospace Engineering, but would also like to learn about what Engineering Physics is. Information like job potential and starting salaries would also be helpful.
Have you looked at the BLS OOH? Google that and you will find a lot of information.
Thanks @boneh3ad
I think these majors are all good. Aerospace Engineering is really a specialty area of mechanical engineering, like petroleum engineering is really a specialty area of chemical engineering. Computer engineering is a specialty area of electrical engineering that focuses on computers.
Any one of these can be a good choice depending on what interests you.
My brother got an engineering physics degree and he always said it was the science behind engineering. It seems to be more demanding than most engineering degrees, too. But it’s kind of a general degree, pretty flexible but he felt like he wanted to narrow it down a bit so he went to grad school. A lot of them do, I think, like about a third of them.
