Competitive schools with beautiful campuses?

Colgate University is said to have a very beautiful campus.

University of Baghdad had a beautiful campus too bad we bombed it all flat [thanks Saddam] :)) j/k

Penn! You can’t beat Philly, man!

Pepperdine.

Pepperdine.

Washington University in St. Louis! One of my best friends is going to a school that’s an arborterum and when she was stalking WashU felt the need to text me and tell me how gorgeous my future home is.

PENN! <3

And as mentioned before: Duke, UCSD, Stanford. Columbia is quite nice as well, just in a different way. (:

Duke and Princeton are both gorgeous if you like that old, European Gothic feel.

I personally think Princeton’s prettier than Harvard, if you’re looking for another reach. That said, I like our campus better. In the winter, brick > gray stone Gothic. Much more cheerful.

William & Mary - spectacular
U. Richmond - Utopia
Visit both if you’re in Virginia sometime

Selective and gorgeous- Kenyon College- #1 Most Beautiful College Campus in the World!

[The World’s Most Beautiful College Campuses - Yahoo! Real Estate](http://realestate.yahoo.com/promo/the-worlds-most-beautiful-college-campuses.html)

Try Northwestern U. The entire eastern edge of the campus is the lakeshore, just gorgeous. Evanston is a nice suburb of Chicago. Downtown Chicago from campus is about 20 minutes, and NU runs a free shuttle since the law and med school campuses are in Chicago.

I can’t believe nobody mentioned this but…CORNELL! Have you SEEN the viewbook??? Those waterfalls and gorges…priceless. Though if you’re more of a city person, I can see being turned off by the big campus+small city. Spent last summer on scholarship at Oxford U though and that was truly the most AMAZING place ever…gorgeous…looks like something out of a fairytale. Though if your parents aren’t super rich and willing to pay for your tuition (mine aren’t), then I wouldn’t apply since financial aid for internationals is pretty much nonexistent.

CORNELL IS GORGEOUS.

Visiting the campus was insane.

University of Pennsylvania - GORGEOUS mix of buildings, right in the middle of the city, and close enough to plenty of amazing places. You’re only two hours away from NYC, and you have a beach close enough that it can be a weekend outing kinda deal.

^ The button is a cool landmark.
