Compiling a College List...(Junior)

I do this with some reluctance, as I have had some trouble admitting to myself the imminent reality that is college...
I would appreciate if you would assess the reasonability of my college list as based on my stats.

Colleges I am considering:
Carleton College (Convicing parents difficult...because of the distance and cold)
Smith College
Wellesley College
Brown University
University of Pennsylvania
Northwestern University
Duke University

You sound a lot like me (in terms of academics and EC's as well as your initial consideration of colleges) - I would recommend some safeties. Carleton was my #1 choice for awhile, and my parents had issues with that as well.... if you like Carleton, definitely consider Swarthmore (I was accepted here ED). Here were the other colleges on my list (in order of preference):

Haverford
Davidson
Macalester
Wake Forest
Grinnell

Good luck over the next year or so... I'm sure you'll be fine!

You have great ECs and academics. Topper's list is good, and Oberlin and Wesleyan are some others that you might consider. You should add some safeties to the list over the next few months.
