So, I'm going to be graduating next fall (YAY) but I just realized I have no idea what goes on with loan repayment and things like that. If you could answer these questions, that would be great.

Can I pay all the loans in one full payment? I don't have much loans to pay and I'd rather just get it out of the way. If I do that, will I have to pay interest as well?

Do loan providers just send you mail requesting payment? I have 1 Sub-Stafford Loan & 1 Loan from my college. And will they send me a letter for money starting in December (when I graduate) or June (after most people my year graduate).

For your Stafford loan, repayment officially begins 6 months after the last day of your final semester. Here is some info regarding interest during the grace period (the 6 months before payment is due) - <a href=“Mapping Your Future: Page not found”>http://mappingyourfuture.org/paying/stafford.htm - and there is a link for repayment options to click on that page, as well. Go to [National Student Loan Data System for Students](http://www.nslds.ed.gov) to view your federal loan(s). Click the number to the left of the loan description, and you will see the servicer. Go to the servicer’s website and set up online access — make sure all the info they have for you is correct. They will contact you when repayment is due, but you must make sure your info is always up to date.

Can you repay right away? Absolutely! That is a great thing to do.

As for the loan through your school, you will need to ask them about their terms for repayment.
