<p>For #5 part c could you use the arc length formula for the linear equation y=-2x
I believe it comes out to the same sqrt(5), but I just didn’t think of pythagorean theorem until after the test was over, got tunnel vision</p>

<p>You could have just used the arc length integral formula. I used Pythagorean theorem because it was so much less work. </p>

<p>@Supern0va For number 4 part c; I think you have to add the 300 to your trapezoidal approximation and that the answer should be -150 or 150 miles west of the station</p>
