Completely screwed up, freaking out, HELP!

So Barnard has always been my dream school, but my parents (for financial reasons) insisted that I apply regular decision. Now, after a series of events not worth listing here, circumstances have changed and they're allowing me to apply ED.

I'd be thrilled but for 1 problem: Barnard requires 2 subject tests, and I've only taken 1 (US history-740). I had been assuming I'd take lit and Spanish in November, choose the better of the 2, and then submit them to all my schools as regular decision. Now, obviously, I'm in a bit of a bind; the earliest I can take subject tests is obviously in November, and Barnard's due date is November 15th. Assuming I have all the other parts of my application ready (I already do) could I email them, explaining the situation, and get some leniency?

I'm absolutely freaking out because I'm realizing in hindsight how stupid I was not to just take them earlier when I could have. I'm completely in love with Barnard, and since I'm already a bit of a reach there I REALLY want to apply ED. Can anyone give me any advice in this situation? Any help is very, very appreciated. Thanks!

Many schools let you submit scores after the deadline. Called a “Completion Deadline”

Stop worrying, you’re fine lol

You may not get to see your scores before you send them, but you’ll be able to get them there on time. Many schools know and allow students to take tests in November and still apply early, as long as they send their scores right away.

THANK GOD. sorry for flipping out-getting caught up in classic senior anxiety despite my best efforts to keep calm and carry on.

so should i just email barnard to let them know, or just not say anything and send the scores ASAP? is there a rush scores option? i will pay anything at this point haha
