Completing the "Additional Information"?

I completed the Additional Information explaining some of the key-facts of my education system that drastically differ from the ones in the US because I couldn't fill in some of the information in Common App. (for example, AP classes etc. because they don't exist in my country. I also listed the additional subjects I'm taking this year because there wasn't enough space in the Academics section.)

Is that ok? I know a lot of people describe some unusual circumstances, but I already described those in personal and additional essays. I have a feeling that the adcom won't be able to interpret my application correctly unless I write these facts. Am I doing the right thing?

Absolutely! You’re supplying them with additional information that will aid them to better understand you and are supplying them wiht information you believe is relevant to their decision, thats exactly what it’s there for! Good luck! :D

Thanks for the answer, I really appreciate it.
