I’m finally starting to get what I truly want to do in life, career wise…I have a deep interest in both subject of computer and art. Now I’m aware of there are subjects out there like 3D Animation, computer graphics, CGI, etc… What’s the best degree to get if i want to get into something like that? I’m currently going for computer science right now because most job listings says computer science or related subject is required, so it feels like the degree is fairly solid. My ultimate goal is to work for Pixar with the subjects that’s related to what i’ve stated. Any advice out there? What i should do right now to plan my future? I’m currently in a community college, looking to transfer to USC. No experience in computer science.
Look for schools that have computing in the arts programs. College of Charieston in SC does, unfortunately it’s on the east coast.
