Computer Engineering Graduate School

Hello everyone, I recently graduated from an undergraduate program in computer engineering. My overall and program GPA were around 2.8. Right now I'm looking to start working as soon as possible. What I want to do is work for a year or two then attend graduate school to get a master's in the same field.

1.) Has anybody here gotten into a master's computer engineering program with a 2.8 GPA?
2.) If so, how was the process and what school?
3.) Has anybody completed an undergraduate degree in Computer Engineering then completed another degree in Electrical Engineering both at different schools?
4.) It took me more than 5 years to get this degree and I hate the 2.8 GPA. Would it be a good idea to get an electrical engineering degree from a different school to get a better GPA then apply for grad school?
5.) For anyone with both degrees from different schools as mentioned above, did you have to re-take courses like English, History and other non-technical required courses? I don't want to waste my time on these classes again, I actually got all A's and B's in these classes.

Can anybody please offer any advice?

I can’t help you with the engineering questions but I can tell you that most schools will not require you to retake courses outside of your major if you are enrolled as a second degree student. Before sending in any application fees make sure that the school you’re applying to accepts applicants who already have an undergrad degree. UNC, for example, will not accept anyone for a second bachelor’s degree.

For many grad schools, your last 60 semester units / 90 quarter units count more than your freshman / sophomore units. If you have a 3.0 among those classes, you still have a chance.
