Computer Engineering Technology Major with Computer Science Minor

Hi there, It would be really helpful if someone helps me out with this...I'm currently a freshman at a ABET Certified college. My major is BS in Computer Engineering Technology with a minor in Computer Science. I had actually applied for Computer Engineering & Computer Science but did not get in because my Math was not strong enough in high school and the SATs Tests. Therefore, I had to pick Computer Engineering Tech. How much is my major different from typical computer engineering degree? Also, since I am minoring in Comp Sci, can I get into Software developing or IT career? My major mostly deals with computer hardware related industries but still requires few comp sci courses such as programming, operating systems, computer architecture, etc. Plus I will be minoring in Computer Sci. Third, Can I get into Computer Science Masters program after completing BS in Comp Engineering Tech and a minor in Comp Sci? The reason I say this is because the school says that BS in engineering major start at high level math since freshman year whereas we(Engineering Tech) start with College math and then reach higher level math. Note: I will be taking many of the upper lever math classes in my major such as Calc 1, 2, and 3. Also, I do like programming/networking much more than learning Electronics and Circuits.

Currently studying: Computer Engineering Technology and minor in Computer Science.

Need to know: If i can get into Computer Sci Masters and have a career in Software Development or any IT jobs such as Network/Database Administration or programming with little hardware. Sorry for my English because it is my second language.

-Thank you

From which college you are doing comp. Engineering technology?
