I got in them with a computer engineering major. Which is the best for computer engineering? Which would also be the best if I want to go to grad school? Also how hard which each be if I wanted to switch majors? I might switch to EE, which was my alt major. Thanks for reading! cheers.

Either Cal Poly, forget about UCR. You have to compare both Cal Polys and decide rural (SLO) vs. urban (Pomona). Cal Poly SLO is tougher to get into, but Cal Poly Pomona is also pretty tough, and well-regarded. I also hear SLO people are a bit snobby, but my cousin goes there and he says there’re both nice and snobbish people–just like everywhere! I like the urban lifestyle of Los Angeles, and the beaches at Orange County.

I would probably go to SLO. They have the highest rated engineering program out of the three; however, I do not know how they rank for computer engineering specifically. Also, I think SLO is the best location, but it is certainly not the cheapest living conditions.

I’d say visit all three and see what feels most fit for you. Definitely take out UCR because Cal Poly’s are known for their Engineering programs. I am not sure about which is better at computer engineering but which ever Cal Poly you choose, would be an excellent choice.
