Just wondering, I know that Harvard lets you use 2500 of your extra scholarship money for the purchase of a computer plus other equipments. I'm looking for the advice of someone who has done this program in previous years. I do have the form to apply for a reimbursement but it didn't clearly say whether or not we need to send in CPU codes from the products or just the receipts...

The reason I ask that is because I don't know whether or not I want to return something after I submit in the forms.

Hey! I recieved the computer reimbursement as well. I would try and email Christopher J. Looby" looby@fas.harvard.edu becuse he was the person that personally helped and wrote the letter for the reimbursement. I'm a little confused myself.

2 days ago my son sent in the computer reimbursement form with a copy of the receipt and that was it. We are waiting to hear back from H. I believe this is all they require.

We did it two years ago, and all it required was the receipts. Bear in mind that the reimbursement will cover the laptop, printer, software, extra memory, etc. but no "luxury" peripherals such as iPods and cameras.

I recall it as relatively quick - I've never been anything but delighted with my dealings with the Financial Aid Office. Aznp - I don't believe the reimbursement form is online; as far as I know you need to contact your Financial Aid officer for it: Harvard College Financial Aid Office - Contact - Staff Directory

lol, another reminder
if you live out of state, you should order it and ship it home. I know it might be a hassle to bring it back to harvard but if you ship it home, you only have to pay the 30 dollars shipping fee, instead of the 5% tax. Out of state people don't have to pay tax, except for like MA and one other state
